The website act.edu (from hereon after called “Website”) offers its visitors information regarding the Anatolia College, a non-profit educational organization with a long tradition in education and offering at all levels of education. The institution was founded in 1886 in Merzifon (Turkey) and in 1924 settled in Thessaloniki. Designed with excellence, groundbreaking educational activities and high-level teaching, Anatolia College has become an educational center with Pan-Hellenic and international recognition. The educational organization maintains one of the largest scholarship programs in Greece, as well as a multifaceted program of social actions and contributions.

The User is expected to read carefully these Terms before accessing the Website, and if disagrees is advised to abstain from the use. These Terms of Use may be modified in the future. This page will host the current and updated version for the use of the Website.

By accessing and using the Website and any available information provided, the User unequivocally accepts the Terms of Use and conditions that apply for the content, including landing pages, images, graphs, photos, videos, and/or files.

This website is addressed to adults. Minors under 15 years can access this website under the supervision of a parent or guardian who can understand and accept the Terms of Use. The exception to this rule are photos of third parties that have been sent to Anatolia College for the sole purpose of being published, such as photos sent by parents/guardians where their children are being shown from extracurricular activities and have been published after receiving consent from the parent/guardian.

The Intercollegiate Workshop on the Contemporary Practice of Diplomacy

Date: Saturday, March 7, 2020
Venue: Mediterranean Palace Hotel, Thessaloniki

The Consul General of France, Philippe Ray, the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sibylla Bendig, and the US Consul General, Gregory W. Pfleger, Jr. will discuss their experiences in diplomacy and consular affairs and the skills most needed in their respective foreign services in a roundtable discussion, where students can also raise questions about current events.

This session will be followed by a workshop where students will be invited to work to resolve a case study crisis using insights gained from the roundtable.

The event is free of charge.

11:00 - 13:00 Roundtable discussion of the four diplomats on diplomatic skills and consular experiences followed by a Q&A
