Honors program
In 2012 the Dukakis Center launched a pilot freshman honors program to cater to requests from students with a record of academic achievement to add a challenging supplement to their regular course work at ACT.
Coordinated by Maria Patsarika, the honors program consists of specially designed activities for qualified students in all four years of their undergraduate study. In 2013-14 honors sophomores will take part in unique creativity workshops with renowned photographer Chryssa Nikoleri, while incoming freshmen will attend honors seminars and undertake special projects with Dr Patsarika.
Honors juniors and seniors will eventually have opportunities to engage in mentorship projects and participate in short-term co-op placements, while seniors will design and implement their own public service project off campus.
