ACT Painting Club Student exhibition

ACT Painting club, run by Ms. Nayia Kaplanidou (Anatolia alumna, class of 1980), concluded the Fall 2015 sessions with a student exhibit in the Bissell Library during the first two weeks of December 2015.

The students (mostly Study Abroad students from the USA) managed to produce completed paintings on diverse themes (portraits, landscapes etc.) within a few months’ time period using a variety of techniques (e.g. pastel, acrylic). The artworks on display were indicative of the students’ diligence and enthusiasm and presented high aesthetic and technical level. The exhibition was the culmination of their effort and coincided with the last days of their study program at ACT and their residence in Greece.
