Volunteers will be gathering at the main entrance of the YMCA at 17:00
Through the YMCA program called: I'm a citizen and not just a resident, in collaboration with the Deputy Mayor for the Environment, Quality of Life and open spaces, is organizing an event to inform citizens about the trees in their area and encourage them to adopt one of them.
Find out:
- What trees exist in the city?
- How to care for these trees?
- How you can protect the trees around you?
This action aims to inform and raise awareness especially for owners of shops and general citizens on these issues. In parallel you can adopt a tree and help protect the urban green.
Volunteers will distribute information leaflets urging citizens on specific roads in town where trees were recently planted to adopt a tree by filling the a specfic statement and information will be given to them on how to care for their specific tree.
